I had dinner a few nights ago.

Idyllic summer atmosphere, great Brazilian-style meat, background music from a band… not much more can be asked for.

The service was impeccable.

Wonderful experience. We had dinner there on August 15 for my mother’s birthday, and the dedication from the entire El Torrente team was an example of care, attention, and affection.

Normally, I don’t mention anyone and always direct my review to another user like myself, to let them know if the place is good or bad. Well, the place is very good, I would give it 4 stars if it weren’t for one of the waiters who was especially attentive and gave us a premium experience. Arturo, thank you very much.

As for the food, it was good, it took about 45 minutes between the starters and the main dishes. I had a premium drink, and just in case it helps, it’s important to serve it at the table in front of the customer.

The place… simply spectacular.

The food was very good, the sirloin tartar was amazing, definitely worth repeating, and the tuna with sea ox was very tasty.

The scallops were okay, nothing special (to our taste).

The rice dishes were very, very good and the lentil Dhul was delicious.

Played Desert Springs a couple of days ago (Aug24) with my wife while on holiday in Almería and really enjoyed our round.

The fairways, greens, tees and general condition of the course is excellent.

We played here last about 3 years ago, and it’s fantastically well maintained.

It definitely favours good course management rather than always going long off the tee, so I enjoyed the challenge the course offers, if you kept it straight and hit your length you really scored well, bad shots were punished if you missed the fairway and rough and ended in the desert, but it was rare for me to lose a ball.

The driving range and practice facilities are really good, during our holiday my 6-year-old daughter did a 3 day ‘camp’, her first experience of golf and she loved it, which was great as I’d love for her to enjoy playing with us here when we come back in the future.

We will be back for sure when we are next here on holiday. I’ve not found a better course in the area.

I can’t give more stars because there aren’t any more! A must-stop if you’re in the Vera area. Idyllic place… special food and 10/10 service.

The golf course is a good test and you need to think about tee shots carefully, not just reaching for driver!
